Episode Summary & Review
Summary
In the past, Jason is raised to become the leader of Wayward Pines if anything happens to David Pilcher. In the present, Jason is surprised when one of his mentors asks for his forgiveness, and to rejoin the community.
Our Take
A middling hour that leans hard on flashback to fill in Jason’s backstory, and it mostly just confirms what we already guessed. The present-day stuff works better, especially the awkward reunion with his old mentor, but there’s a lot of standing around explaining ideology. Fine if you’re already invested, skippable if you’re not.
