Summary
An unlikely alliance plans a raid on England; Ragnar and his men face off against a formidable foe.
Our Take
A slow build episode that spends most of its runtime on marching and scheming before paying off with a genuinely tense clash in the final act. The alliance politics are interesting but the middle section drags a bit. Worth watching for the battle alone, which delivers the grit the show does best without feeling like a repeat of season one.
