Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A prophet predicts the earl’s future; Ragnar’s home and farm are destroyed.
Our Take
A punishing hour that burns Ragnar’s life to the ground and lets the fallout carry the weight. Travis Fimmel does a lot with silence as everything he built goes up in smoke, and the prophet scenes give Haraldson an unsettling edge. Some of the pacing drags in the middle stretch, but the ending lands hard enough to make it worth your time.
