Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Vash meets Nicholas, a suspicious undertaker who carries a huge cross. Before they could get to know each other, though, they are attacked by a huge worm, swallowing them and the building they were in.
Our Take
This is the episode where the show finally introduces its second lead, and the chemistry between Vash and the cross-carrying undertaker carries the whole hour. The monster-of-the-week plot is thin and the worm stuff gets repetitive, but the banter and the mystery around Nicholas keep it moving. Worth watching mostly for the character work.
