Grant MacLaren and his team find themselves in FBI custody with no means of escape, while a mysterious new traveler reveals secrets to his psychiatrist.
Our Take
A decent season opener that spends most of its runtime locked in an interrogation room, which works better than it sounds thanks to some tense sparring between MacLaren and his FBI handler. The psychiatrist subplot with the new traveler is intriguing but slow to connect. Worth a watch if you’re already invested, though it’s more setup than payoff.
