Summary
The Director orders an assassination and MacLaren is kept on a tight leash.
Our Take
A tense hour that mostly works because it puts MacLaren in the passenger seat and lets the friction between him and his handler carry the tension. The assassination setup is gripping, though the subplot with the family feels like filler this week. Worth your time if you’ve been enjoying the season, but it doesn’t push the larger story forward much.
