A quiet, uneasy hour that mostly deals with the fallout of the base attack, and it handles the scattered-team format better than you’d expect. The Ultra Magnus scenes give the season some needed direction, though a few stretches feel like treading water. Worth watching for the character beats, just don’t expect much action until the end.
