Our Take
A rare season finale that actually commits to the bit, ending on a genuinely bleak cliffhanger with the team scattered and the base in ruins. The Optimus decision lands hard because the show spent the whole season building to it. It’s a heavy, satisfying hour, though the pacing rushes a few exits. Worth it for the payoff alone.
