Summary
With the Decepticons completing their Space Bridge to Cybertron, Optimus Prime and the Autobots race to stop Megatron from opening the Bridge and bringing forth a vast army of Dark Energon zombies from the Transformers’ dead home planet.
Our Take
The five-part opener wraps up with a proper payoff, and the space bridge showdown delivers the scale the earlier episodes promised. Megatron’s zombie army makes for a genuinely creepy visual, though the middle stretch leans on exposition a bit too much. A solid, satisfying close that earns the buildup and leaves enough threads hanging to pull you into the rest of the season.
