Summary
Feeling helpless as Robby’s condition worsens, Mo wishes she had never touched the Emberstone. Quintus Prime shows the young hero that because of her, the world is a better place.
Our Take
A quiet, emotional hour that steps away from the action to deal with Mo’s guilt, and it mostly lands. The glimpse into a world without her works better than expected, though the life-lesson framing gets a bit preachy near the end. Still, it’s a solid character piece that gives Mo real weight, and it’s worth sitting with even if the pacing drags in spots.
