Our Take
A solid season opener that mostly sets the table instead of serving a meal. Sentinel Prime’s smug condescension gives the episode its best sparks, and watching Optimus squirm under the Elite Guard’s judgment lands emotionally even if the stakes stay small. Some jokes drag and the plot barely moves, but the character friction carries it. Fine as a table-setter, just don’t expect fireworks.
