Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The Stig tears up the track in an insanely tuned Mercedes SL and Richard and James attempt to build a working space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin. Plus, Hot Fuzz actor Simon Pegg is the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car.
Our Take
This is the episode where the boys strap a rocket to a Reliant Robin and pray, and somehow the ambition almost matches the execution. The shuttle build is genuinely gripping television, with a payoff that had me grinning and wincing at the same time. Pegg’s interview is fun if forgettable, but the main event carries the hour. Worth it for the stunt alone.
