Summary
In the second part of the Top Gear special, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May continue their epic African odyssey.Having survived insane traffic, lethal mudslides and some distinctly dubious map reading, the trio and their ailing estate cars reach the climax of their quest to find the definitive source of the Nile.
Our Take
The conclusion to the Africa trip feels a bit stretched, with the middle hour dragging as the cars limp from one breakdown to the next. Still, the genuine camaraderie carries it, and the final reveal at the Nile lands a surprisingly warm emotional beat. Worth watching if you enjoyed part one, just temper your expectations for the payoff.
