Summary
Jeremy Clarkson has a high voltage encounter with the Tesla, a battery powered super car and James travels to California to take a look at the hydrogen powered Honda Clarity. The Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is Tom Jones.
Our Take
This one feels like a transitional episode, with the Tesla test providing most of the sparks while James’s hydrogen car segment in California moves at a slower pace. Clarkson clearly enjoys ragging on the charging times more than he admits to liking the car, and the Tom Jones chat is pleasant but forgettable. Fine background viewing, just don’t expect a classic.
