Summary
Jeremy, Richard and James revisit their attempt to build amphibious cars, and face up to one of their biggest and choppiest challenges to date. Plus the Audi R8 attacks the Top Gear track and jazz/pop pianist, bandleader and television presenter Jools Holland (Later With Jools Holland) is the Star In a Reasonably Priced Car.
Our Take
The amphibious car revisit is peak Top Gear silliness, with the Channel crossing attempt delivering genuine suspense and some proper belly laughs when the engineering predictably falls apart. The Audi R8 segment is solid if familiar supercar fare, and Jools Holland chats amiably enough. Worth your time for the water stuff alone.
