Episode Summary & Review

Summary

In the aftermath of his fight with Nightwing, anti heroes Red Hood and Jonathan Crane reteam for the first phase of their fearsome plan. Then, through a series of flashbacks, Red Hood’s origins are revealed.

Our Take

A mostly solid origin hour that finally gives Red Hood the backstory the season has been teasing, and the flashbacks land better than expected. Crane’s scheming still feels like the weakest thread, and some of the violence leans on shock value instead of earning it. Worth watching if you’ve come this far, though it won’t convert anyone who’s already checked out.
