Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Hank battles as Hawk in an underground fight club, trying to cope with life after Dawn. Donna and Dawn track down Gar and Conner, Rose reveals her origin to Jason, and Dick gets a new suit.
Our Take
Hank’s underground fight club storyline carries most of the hour, and it’s a mixed bag: Alan Ritchson sells the self-destruction well, but the misery gets repetitive. The Rose and Jason scenes are the real highlight, giving both characters some overdue depth. Dick’s new suit lands with more of a shrug than the show seems to expect. A decent setup episode, just don’t expect much forward momentum.
