Summary
A conflicted Lunt is forced to make a choice with potentially deadly consequences.
Our Take
A tense hour that finally gives Lunt something meaty to chew on, and the actor makes the most of it. The interrogation scenes crackle while the Jim-Anna material in Liverpool mostly treads water until a strong closing stretch. Not the season’s best, but the stakes feel real for once, and that ending earns the rating. Worth your time if you’re this far in.
