Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Rachel floats a career change to Shane. Belinda starts to take Tanya’s proposition seriously. Armond’s renewed sobriety is put to the test.
Our Take
A slower, itchier hour that mostly works because the tension between characters keeps simmering even when the plot barely moves. Armond’s relapse is telegraphed from a mile away, though Murray Bartlett still sells every beat of it. The Rachel and Shane scenes drag, but Sydney Sweeney and Steve Zahn make their subplot quietly uncomfortable. Fine viewing, just not the season’s peak.
