Summary
After eradicating all threats at the bus station, The Tick heads for the big city and gets invovled with stopping a threat against former President, Jimmy Carter. In the process, he makes a new friend: Arthur, an accountant who seeks to become a superhero.
Our Take
A goofy, charming start that mostly leans on The Tick’s lovably dim optimism and the odd-couple setup with Arthur. The Jimmy Carter plot is thin and some jokes land with a thud, but the show’s absurdist voice is already there in full force. Worth a look if you like your superhero parody weird and a little sleepy.
