Summary
The team responds to the report of a severed hand washing up on the beach and are on the hunt to find its owner. Meanwhile, Tim attempts to prove he isn’t a control freak to Lucy and invites her on a double date with him and Ashley.
Our Take
A solid case-of-the-week hour with a creepy hook that keeps things moving, though the severed hand investigation wraps up a little too neatly. The double date subplot is the real draw here, giving Tim and Lucy some genuinely funny, awkward material that plays nicely against the darker main story. Worth your time if you’re following the Chenford slow burn.
