Our Take
A quieter, more sombre hour that trades the show’s usual caper energy for long conversations about consequences, and it mostly works. Stephen Merchant and Christopher Walken get the best material and lean into it without overplaying. Some subplots stall in the middle stretch, but the final act lands with real weight. Worth it if you’ve been along for the ride so far.
