Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When two Union anthropologists go missing on a planet similar to 21st century Earth, Ed sends a team led by Kelly to find them, but the mission quickly goes awry when they realize the society’s government is completely based on a public voting system to determine punishment.
Our Take
This one leans hard on its Black Mirror premise, and the social media trial plot mostly earns the comparison. The satire of upvotes and mob justice is blunt but effective, and John LaMarr gets some real character material instead of just comic relief. It gets preachy toward the end and the resolution feels a little tidy, but it’s a solid, watchable hour with an actual point to make.
