Summary
Deangelo creates tension when he created an inner circle of only men at the office.
Our Take
A middling transitional episode that leans hard on Will Ferrell’s Deangelo, and his inner circle shtick gets old before the half-hour mark. The cold open and a few Dwight moments land, but most of the comedy feels loud instead of clever. Fine to watch, just don’t expect the sharp writing this show usually delivers.
