Our Take
This one lives or dies on how uncomfortable you find the premise, and Michael dating Pam’s mom is a genuinely awkward setup that the show mostly earns. Jenna Fischer does a lot with limited material, and the cold open is funnier than the main story. A solid mid-tier episode, nothing more.
