Summary
Michael decides to start his own paper company after giving his two week’s notice.
Our Take
A satisfying turning point for the season, mostly because Michael finally stops being the butt of every joke and starts acting with actual purpose. Idris Elba’s stringency as Charles wears thin by now, which makes Michael’s rebellion feel earned rather than childish. Pam stepping out of reception is the quiet highlight. It’s a fun hour that sets up the back half nicely without doing all that much on its own.
