Summary
Jan gives Michael the news that the Scranton branch is closing.
Our Take
A rare episode where the stakes feel genuinely heavy, and the comedy gets sharper because of it. Steve Carell nails Michael’s mix of denial and panic, and the Dwight tag-along stuff pays off better than it has any right to. Some beats with the supporting staff drag a little, but the ending lands. Worth your time.
