Summary
Michael, Jim and Karen interview for a job at corporate; Michael appoints Dwight as regional manager.
Our Take
A tight setup episode that gets a lot of mileage out of everyone chasing the corporate job. Michael’s road trip with Jim and Karen is the highlight, and Dwight’s brief reign as manager delivers some of the season’s best dumb comedy. It’s mostly table-setting for the finale, but the jokes land consistently and the pacing never sags. Worth your half hour.
