A rare season finale that earns its big moment instead of forcing it. The gambling stuff is fun but mostly filler; the real weight comes from Michael juggling two dates badly and the Jim and Pam storyline finally boiling over in a way that feels honest, not cheap. It sets up season 3 perfectly and stands alone as one of the show’s best hours.
