Michael hosts the annual Dundies awards.
Our Take
A perfect way to kick off season two, with Michael’s cringe-inducing award ceremony somehow turning weirdly sweet by the end. The Chili’s setting works great, and Pam’s tipsy arc gives Jenna Fischer some of her best early material. Steve Carell nails the balance between pathetic and sincere. It’s a funny, slightly awkward half hour that shows the show finding its voice. Worth it.
