Summary
Exposure to a weird mixture of chemicals, including the Joker’s laughing gas, changes straitlaced newsman Jack Ryder into the crazed Creeper. He looks to kill the Joker, and develops a much unwanted crush on Harley.
Our Take
A goofy, fast-paced romp that leans hard into slapstick, which mostly works thanks to the Creeper’s unhinged energy and some genuinely funny gags. The Harley crush subplot gets uncomfortable fast, though, and the Joker feels more cartoonish than usual. Worth a watch if you want a lighter break from the show’s darker episodes.
