Summary
Arnold Wesker is released from Arkham, completely free of his Scarface persona. But Scarface’s old gang, needing their old boss back, begin working to drive Wesker back to his old ways.
Our Take
A quiet character study that mostly works thanks to some genuinely uncomfortable scenes of the gang wearing Wesker down. The problem is the pace: it stretches a thin premise thin, and the Scarface payoff feels rushed after all that slow buildup. Watchable for Wesker’s sympathetic moments, but it’s a middling hour you won’t miss skipping.
