Summary

The Scarecrow develops a new toxin that, rather than inducing fear, eliminates it, making average people incredibly reckless and dangerous, including Batman.

Our Take

A solid Scarecrow outing with a genuinely creepy premise, watching ordinary Gothamites leap off buildings because they’ve lost their fear of death. The middle stretch gets a bit repetitive as Batman runs around playing damage control, but the toxin hitting him changes his whole dynamic, and the climax lands well. Not a top-tier episode, but a smart twist on a familiar villain and an easy recommend.
