Summary

Nori questions her instincts. Elrond struggles to stay true to his oath. Halbrand weighs his destiny. The Southlanders brace for attack.

Our Take

This one mostly builds tension for the big orc showdown, and it does that job fine, though the Harfoot scenes still feel like a different, slower show. Halbrand gets the meatiest material and the episode is better for it. Some clunky dialogue slows things down, but the ending lands well enough that you’ll want the next episode right away.
