Our Take
A gorgeous opening hour that leans hard on scenery and scale, sometimes at the expense of actually telling us who these people are. Galadriel’s storyline lands best, while the Harfoot material is charming but thin. Worth a watch for the production values alone, just don’t expect much narrative momentum yet.
