Summary
Korra reaches a dead end when she turns to the president for help, so she strikes out on her own.
Our Take
This is a talky, table-setting hour where Korra keeps hitting political walls, and the frustration is starting to feel like the whole point. The Mako storyline finally gives him something to do, and Varrick remains fun, but the Northern occupation material drags. Fine as connective tissue, just don’t expect any real payoff until the closing minutes.
