Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Ellie crosses paths with a vengeful group of survivors, and draws the attention of its leader. A weakened Joel faces a new threat.
Our Take
A tense, nasty hour carried almost entirely by Bella Ramsey, who holds her own against a genuinely unnerving Troy Baker. The cat-and-mouse buildup works better than the violence itself, which gets a bit heavy-handed with its imagery. Scott Shepherd’s turn as David is the standout, though the ending rushes what should land harder. Worth it for the performances alone.
