Summary
When a woman’s husband dies from a fall on a construction site, Nick and Pete look to prove wrongful death against the company. Meanwhile, Pete tries to help an online blogger avoid jail after exposing an illusionist’s magic trick.
Our Take
This one splits its time between a wrongful death case and a magician suing a blogger, and the magic subplot is easily the more fun half, with some genuine laughs. The courtroom stuff is standard but solid, carried by the easy chemistry between the leads. Nothing groundbreaking, just a likable, low-stakes hour that goes down smooth. Worth a watch if you’re already along for the season.
