Summary
Nick works the system to free a single mother accused of running down a jogger while chit chatting on her cell phone, meanwhile, Pete does his best to help a man down on his luck.
Our Take
This one leans hard on Jim Belushi’s charm, and mostly it pays off. The case of the week is predictable courtroom stuff, but the client interactions feel genuinely lived-in, and Jerry O’Connell gets a few good moments in the B-story. Nothing groundbreaking, just a solid hour of two guys bantering their way through Las Vegas legal messes. Worth a watch if you’re already on board.
