Summary
The newly promoted AFC Richmond face mockery as pundits predict they’ll finish dead last this season.
Our Take
A middling season premiere that spends most of its runtime setting up the “everyone doubts Richmond” premise without much momentum of its own. The banter is still fun and Roy and Keeley get a few good beats, but the pacing drags and some subplots feel like filler. Fine to watch if you’re already invested, just don’t expect the show’s sharpest hour.
