Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Bizarro, after visiting Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, sees the demise of Krypton. Believing this is his own past, Bizarro constructs a “Krypton” in downtown Metropolis with the intent to blow it up in the same manner that Krypton exploded.
Our Take
Bizarro remains one of this show’s saddest villains, and his childlike confusion still lands, especially once he starts rebuilding Krypton in the middle of Metropolis. The problem is the episode around him is thin, mostly a city-destruction plot we’ve seen done better. Worth it for the character work, but the story itself runs out of ideas halfway through.
