Our Take
A big pivot episode that finally drags the Diamond drama into the open, and it mostly earns the buildup. The trip to the garden is quietly devastating, and the first glimpse of White Diamond lands with real weight thanks to some eerie animation choices. It’s mostly setup, but it’s setup with teeth. Worth it for the ending alone.
