A tense, satisfying payoff that finally gives the Diamonds some real screen time, and Blue Diamond’s grief hits harder than expected. Yellow Diamond’s musical number is a genuine highlight, sneaking real character work into a villain song. The escape itself moves fast without feeling rushed. A strong close to the arc that rewards viewers who’ve stuck with the slower Homeworld buildup.
