Summary
Steven grows a patch of watermelons and discovers a new power.
Our Take
A light, silly episode that leans hard on absurdity, and mostly gets away with it. The sentient watermelon gags are genuinely funny, and Steven’s obliviousness to the chaos he’s causing carries the whole thing. It’s thin on substance and the ending resolves things a bit too neatly, but as a quick comedy break between heavier episodes, it does its job fine.
