Our Take
A weird celebrity-cameo detour where pro ballers suit up as hoop-themed superheroes, and the whole thing plays exactly as silly as it sounds. Virgil gets sidelined in his own show, the villains are forgettable, and the basketball action can’t make up for the thin story. Kids in 2004 probably loved seeing their favorite players; today it’s mostly a curiosity worth skipping unless you’re a completist.
