Our Take
Static Shock opens its second season by dropping the Joker and Batman into Dakota, and honestly the crossover works better than it should for a kids show. Kevin Michael Richardson’s Joker is a bit too gravelly, but the banter between Static and Robin is fun and the action moves quick. A breezy, solid premiere that promises bigger things for season two.
