Our Take
The Breed” is where the show finds its teeth, pitting Static against Ebon and his crew instead of a lone villain of the week. The gang angle gives the stakes real weight, and Kevin Michael Richardson’s voice work as Ebon is genuinely menacing. A few clunky exposition beats slow things down, but this is a strong, confident hour that hints at the bigger world to come.
