Sabotage

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Without the means to alter the Destiny’s course, Dr. Rush calculates the Destiny will fall short of making it to the next galaxy, stranding them indefinitely.

Our Take

This one leans hard on the body-swapping device and mostly gets away with it, thanks to some genuinely uncomfortable tension between Young and Telford’s situation. The pacing drags in the middle when the stranded-ship problem turns into people standing around discussing math. Still, the character work pays off enough to make it a solid hour, even if it’s not the season’s peak.
