Summary
When a secret military research base is attacked, a small group of civilians and military personnel escape through the Stargate to a ship that is locked on course through deep space.
Our Take
A grim, slow-building opener that spends a lot of energy proving it’s not your older sibling’s Stargate. The ship reveal is genuinely cool and the air crisis gives the episode a ticking clock, but the cast is so large that few people register as characters yet. Worth it if you like your sci-fi moody, just don’t expect answers here.
