Summary
A Jedi returns to his forbidden love to help defend her kingdom from a Sith like Shogun.
Our Take
This is the season’s most openly tragic entry, and Science SARU’s painterly style gives the doomed romance real weight even in a short runtime. The problem is that everything moves so fast that the Sith threat and the final twist land harder than they should, but with less emotional buildup than they deserve. Worth a watch for the visuals alone, just don’t expect the story to breathe.
